Perform a wide variety of design work generating general layouts typically on complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electrical assemblies and component parts of existing machinery using CAD system.
Will serve as a technical company representative providing exceptional customer service during the installation of new products, in performing service related work on existing customer equipment or while providing technical support via phone or e-mail correspondence.
Responsible for the sale of company press brake and shear products throughout North America, in co-ordination with the territory Sales Engineers and Marketing Representatives. Travel as required to close sales contracts, train and assist the Sales Engineers and Marketing Representatives in the sale of the product line. Develop market and product data for new products and enhancements to existing products lines. Reports directly to the Vice President, Sale & Marketing. Supervises applications support personnel.
Responsible for being completely and technically familiar with the company’s press brake products, off-line programming software, services and policies. This role advises and trains customers, sales personnel, product support personnel and others in the correct use and application of press brake products. Will also support field sales engineers and marketing representatives in sales calls and sales activities to achieve target sales goals.
