Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed targets and goals set for the assigned area
- Provide technical and engineering information on LVD products, services, and equipment by answering customer questions and requests
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations and provide value-added solutions to customers as needed
- Identify potential business opportunities by prospecting and assessing industry positions; research and analyze sales options
- Maintain strong relationships with LVD customers by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities for profitability, cost reduction, and service improvements
- Establish and develop relationships with prospects; recommend appropriate solutions
- Provide accurate sales projections and forecasts on a monthly basis
- Take ownership of the entire pre-sales and post-sales process (from sales call to quote to purchase order to contract to payment terms to delivery to installation coordination to final acceptance certificate)
- Collect payment for machine sales with support from the Administration team
- Provide support to the Service Department when necessary for machine failure or service issues, working as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes
- Attend industry trade shows and events to promote our products and identify new sales opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitor offerings to identify potential product improvements or new product opportunities
- Continuously enhance professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, reviewing publications, building networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies
- Fulfill any other duties assigned by the company in a timely and effective manner

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Well-developed sales skills, incl. negotiation, lead generation, customer service
- Strong time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- MS Office skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Keen aptitude for learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends
- In possession of a current, valid accepted driver license accepted by the company
- Willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience (industrial sales is a plus)
