Methodist / Process Engineer
Your role
As a Methodist / Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the digitalization, standardization, and optimization of manufacturing and warehouse processes. You play a key role in developing BI reporting, managing and analyzing ERP data from systems such as LN, and implementing efficient processes that improve operational performance.
In addition, you will support the centralization of information, automate reporting processes, and document workflows to ensure knowledge retention and seamless transfer to colleagues and future employees. Acting as a link between manufacturing, warehousing, data analysis, and process improvement, you will contribute to building a data-driven organization.
Your responsibilities
Manufacturing Digitalization
- Extract, analyze, and clean data from LN.
- Optimize ERP data structures for reporting purposes.
- Develop interfaces for external data sources.
- Create and maintain BI dashboards and reports.
- Prepare weekly capacity and workload reporting.
- Analyze and visualize backlogs per machine group.
- Monitor completed projects and production performance.
- Manage and integrate production calendars within the ERP system.
- Analyze efficiency and performance per production cell.
- Perform cost calculations based on hourly rates.
- Support P&L reporting with labor and operational cost data.
- Develop annual capacity and budget planning based on sales forecasts.
- Document all reporting structures, calculations, and processes for knowledge transfer.
Warehouse Optimization
- Develop procedures for material standardization.
- Implement consistent naming, coding, and classification standards.
- Analyze and optimize warehouse layouts using ABC methodologies.
- Create procedures for new item creation and approval workflows.
- Improve inventory management processes.
- Perform monthly inventory analyses for tools and materials.
- Monitor obsolete stock, rotating stock, and safety stock levels.
- Analyze manufacturing-related inventory levels.
- Centralize information and standardize operational processes.
Process Documentation
- Document roles, responsibilities, and work methods.
- Define tasks and ownership within manufacturing and warehousing.
- Develop work instructions and procedures.
- Ensure efficient knowledge transfer and onboarding of new employees.
- Convert daily operational activities into structured documentation and best practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably LN.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence and reporting tools.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data analysis and process optimization.
- Understanding of manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Experience in capacity planning and KPI management.
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes is an asset.
- Experience in process documentation and standardization.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
