PPEC delivers consistent bending results in a versatile press brake that offers solid value. A servo-controlled hydraulic system ensures repeatable accuracy. A crowning system maintains perfect bend quality. In capacities from 40 to 600 tons and in tandem configurations.

Servo-hydraulic accuracy

A servo-controlled hydraulic system allows for highly accurate, programmable control over ram movement for repeatable bending accuracy and energy-efficient operation. 

Crowning 

LVD designs the crowning system for every PPEC. This system automatically compensates for machine deflection ensuring the accuracy of every bend, even complex geometries. 

High-precision linear encoders

Bed-referenced linear encoders eliminate deformation errors, achieving unmatched positioning accuracy of the machine ram to consistently hold tight tolerances. 

Backgauge system

PPEC features a multi-axis backgauge for high precision and flexibility no matter the application. The backgauge system minimizes setup, improves cycle times, and allows for complex bending.  

Front sheet support arms 

Front sheet supports are a standard machine feature. They keep the sheet perfectly level and hold and guide material as it bends for better bending results and greater operator safety.  

Touch-screen control

LVD’s Touch-B control features a highly intuitive interface for easy use. Network compatible, it also fully integrates with LVD’s CADMAN®-B programming software for high process flow efficiency.

Hydraulic clamping

Quick-change hydraulic clamping simplifies tool changeover and significantly reduces setup time for higher machine output.  

Programmable sheet followers 

Programmable sheet followers support heavy or large workpieces, automatically maintaining proper material positioning for more efficient bending. 

Status lighting 

LED lights provide immediate visual feedback to operators for improved machine operation.  

Tandem configuration

For the ultimate in flexible bending, PPEC press brakes can be configured in tandem to operate in synchronized fashion as well as independently using separate machine controllers.
