Business Systems Engineer
Your role
At LVD, we are not looking for a traditional “application administrator.” We are looking for someone who is eager to take real ownership of our business applications and the digital processes that keep our international group running. Someone who enjoys learning, collaborates well with others, and gets energized by technology that truly works.
Your responsibilities
You will become one of four Business Systems Engineers within our IT Applications team. Together with your colleagues from the IT Infrastructure team, you will ensure that systems, data, and integrations remain reliable while continuously improving them.
You will move seamlessly between technology and business needs. One day you may be investigating data quality issues or integration challenges, while the next day you could be helping key users make their processes more efficient. You will contribute ideas, build solutions, and take ownership of the implementations you deliver. All of this is done in close consultation with the IT Manager to determine the right priorities and approach.

- You maintain our business applications to ensure they remain high-performing, stable, and future-ready.
- You ensure data accuracy, effective system integration, and logical business processes.
- You work closely with vendors, key users, and colleagues to implement improvements.
- You document your work so the team can continue to grow and knowledge is retained.
Qualifications
- Analytical, curious, and passionate about solving problems.
- A strong communicator who is comfortable collaborating with different teams.
- Someone who enjoys bringing structure while remaining flexible when needed.
- You have several years of technical experience in one or more of the following technologies, or the willingness to develop expertise in them:
- Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power BI)
- Microsoft SQL databases
- ERP modules
- Modern programming languages
