Gullegem, Belgium – A range of new metalworking products designed to balance price and performance coupled with strong interest from show attendees made EuroBLECH 2010 a successful exhibition for LVD. Show attendance was reported at more than 61,000.

In keeping with its Price, Performance, Profit theme, LVD showcased its new Sirius 3015 Plus CO₂ laser cutting system, debuted the new Strippit VX-1225 CNC turret punch press, the fastest, most productive and energy-efficient punch press ever engineered by the company, and also unveiled its new Compact Series of PPEC precision press brakes in 35 and 50 ton models. Each new product is designed to balance machine functionality and price to ensure maximum productivity.

New product introductions were complemented by mid-level automation solutions for LVD laser cutting and punching equipment. The company featured a new 10-pallet Compact Tower (CT) system for material loading and unloading, and storage of raw material and finished parts. Also displayed was the new Strippit PA-1225 automatic load/unload unit, a compact, single-side system shown to reduce manual worksheet handling time by as much as 80%.

LVD’s Easy-Form® Laser in process angle correction and monitoring system also generated high interest as visitors had the opportunity to see the production of challenging formed parts with first part, good part accuracy. The patented Easy-Form Laser system is award-winning technology that is proven accurate and reliable.

LVD also demonstrated the power of its CADMAN® offline software solutions for sheet metal fabricating including new modules for bending, punching, laser cutting and process management (Cadman OEE). LVD’s latest addition to its offline ‘integration’ solution, Cadman OEE offers users analysis tools to analyze and optimize machine efficiency.
