LVD COMPANY ANNOUNCES MARKETING/SALES MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Gullegem, Belgium – LVD Company nv announces key changes to its Marketing/Sales Management team effective November 1.
Philippe Delberghe replaces Patrick Deferme as Sales & Marketing Director. P. Deferme leaves LVD to head a Flemish non-profit organization which serves the special needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities. An LVD employee since 1989, P. Deferme is credited with strengthening the company’s presence in key world markets and its position as a global leader in sheet metalworking equipment. He was instrumental in building the company’s laser cutting systems product line and brought engineering, sales and marketing expertise to his role.
Ph. Delberghe has been employed by LVD since 1978, most recently as Press Brakes & Shears Product Manager. He has extensive experience in press brake forming technology and is a recognized industry expert in bending technology and applications. In his new position, Ph. Delberghe will be responsible for sales and marketing of LVD’s complete product line throughout Europe and Asia, supervising the efforts of sales subsidiaries and agents.
Succeeding him as Press Brakes & Shears Product Manager is Steven Lucas. S. Lucas has worked for LVD in field sales, machine demonstration, sales – press brakes and shears – world group and service positions; building a comprehensive and solid background of customer orientated sheet metal fabrication experience.
